Apparently I'm bat-shit insane.
About Me:

Greetings. Thanks for visiting my channel. History is a big interest of mine. For the last two years I have been interested in Oak Knoll Naval Hospital, also known as Naval Regional Medical Center Oakland. From the very start the place captured my heart, with its rich past and beautiful structures. The majority of my uploads are about this lovely place. :)
I have tons of favorites, ranging from random and off-the-wall, to beloved songs, to videos about obsolete technology like CED videodiscs. Be prepared for just about anything that strikes me as interesting. :)
I adore music, mostly 70s, 80s and 90s but my tastes run far and wide. My favorite band is Garbage, as you can probably tell.
Welcome!
I hope you enjoy what you find here.

My Garbage Collection so far:
-"Garbage", 1995 CD
-"Milk", 1996 CD single with LP version and three remixes
-"Crush" 1996 live CD
-"Version 2.0", 1998 CD
-"Push It"/"I Think I'm Paranoid" 12'' vinyl LP with two remixes of each song (sealed)
- "I Think I'm Paranoid" UK CD single with B-sides "Deadwood" and "Afterglow" (sealed)
-"The G-Side Collection" CD
-beautifulgarbage, 2001 CD
-"Bleed Like Me", 2005 CD
-"Absolute Garbage" DVD

Yeah I did... "Gorgeous" as it says on the website!
I'm loving the whole NYKOP style... Did you notice a detail in the photo of the Boys walking down to the beach on garbage.com? It looks like Steve's sporting a little tash! At least in that photo. Never seen him with one before, so I just found that interesting... ;D
Also everything's good in art school, thanks. Definitely having lots of fun! Hope all's well with you.

Think I found 'em! Absolutegarbage.com? That shoot looks like the video that 'Milk' should have been... Interesting. Shirley looks stunning of course... her pink dress kind of gave me a heart attack when I saw it! Wow ;)

Sorry- where are these new photos, exactly?

Thanks
I haven't seen the new Shirley photos- I've been pretty busy with first year Art, first semester!- but I will have to check them out now you mention them! Thanks for letting me know ;)

Ha! Glad you agree about Bleed Like Me, and you seem to think I haven't over analysed it. Some guy called me an emo when I wrote that comment on the video for the song! XD Then I got four thumbs up and someone else came to my defence and said I had "depth of thought and not many humans were still capable", lol, so there seems to be some divided opinion about being complex and poetic on Youtube! :D
Love that Sasha remix also! There's a part 2, in case you don't know.

Yep, I feel you there. So can you give me your top Lizzy albums and the next Mac album to listen, having heard Rumours? I'd appreciate that.

And thanks for the compliment on my tagline.... my background is all about the same thing basically... It's a representation of how life's 'scars' affect- and become- everything you are. They're inevitable, and their effect is inevitable and universal... just like that very last note at the end of Bleed Like Me. A ripple in a body of water becomes the whole thing eventually. Just like that last note seems to represent the whole philosophy of the song for the one or two seconds it plays... I.e., trials and suffering are inevitable, so all that's left for you is to feel compassion for them. That's all you can do. The only thing you can do heal yourself is forgive youself or someone else for having to suffer. Also what that soft little note represents- the compassion that consumes the guilt represented by that nasty-sounding guitar riff in the rest if the song. That's what I get from it anyway!

I kinda just pieced it together from the thumbnail of the Lizzy video you favorited :) But honestly, I just gave them a listen and I like them. He reminds me of Jimmy Hendrix. You're proving to be a great source of quality music for me actually! I had never listened to Fleetwood Mac before, but when you said you were such a fan I looked 'em up and I'm never going back again, lol. They're my second favorite band behind Garbage now! Youtube is such a great way to discover new music,

Interesting icon... Is that Phil Lynott? :)

That background :)
Thanks for the affirmation :D I've kind of rediscovered the beauty of Run Baby Run, after a long time not listening to it.
Matter of fact... I'm nearly done with a video for Happy Home; thought you'd like to know your 'Abandonment' footage will feature again :) Know it's your fav song!
