About Pole Fitness
Hey guys,
I am a Pole Fitness enthusiast! I started across this wonderful cross of art-form and sport when I started my first year at the University of Kent in September 2007, and joined (somewhat nervously at first) their Pole Fitness Society, and the difference it has made to my core strength and level of fitness is amazing.
I take my ideas and moves from what I have learned in class, but also from videos I have seen on YouTube of both pole dancing and the Chinese pole circus skill. I also try and invent as many of my own completely new moves and transitions as possible!
I'm afraid I'm dyspraxic, (and dyslexic but that hardly effects my poleing!) Basically that means I have a lot of difficulty with my gross motor control, but I refuse to give up and will keep trying! Sorry that I'm not good enough yet. I'll get there some day. Promise!
I use a 50mm X-Pole, and would highly recommend this brand to everyone!
