@littl3rav3r hey man, hes not gone..you see when they blew up halo the ship that he was on was split into two..his half drifted into space...and cortana said shed put out a beacon so people will find them but it could be years, chief said.."wake me, when you need me".. and froze himself in a chamber such as in the first one :) halo4??!!
