Part 5: What the "Bigfoot" of Whitehall, NY is - and local News article on other sightings
Whitehall, New York has a Bigfoot legend that goes back quite a few years. Believe it or not, but in the spring of 1988 my home was broke into and I was directly confronted by this entity face to face. What I encountered fits the exact same description of all other Whitehall's "Bigfoot" sightings -- and some of those accounts are in this at the end of part 5.
I couldn't speak of this encounter for years without shaking and extreme bad feelings of the post-traumatic stress sort. It is not easy for me to speak of it today, and I believe my apprehension and uneasiness talking of this event is apparent in these videos.
Without a doubt, I can tell you that Whitehall's "Bigfoot" is actually a spiritual entity -- probably demonic and one of certain rank and power (rather than some sort of animal of flesh and blood). I was in fact, confronted by it, controlled, and possessed for a brief period.
At the time of this event, I was living in Whitehall less than a year and had never heard of the place as I was not originally from the region. Before this event, I had no knowledge whatsoever of the creature the locals called "bigfoot". The locals had that a large black figure with red, glowing eyes inhabited the area. I never heard of this before my story takes place. I could easily draw a picture of this entity but I won't for two good reasons:
1. I don't wish to entertain this entity in any way other than get the story out.
2. It did not have many features other than it was like a black, hulking mass of a humanoid figure -- like maybe 6'4 and 300 or more solid muscle pounds. It had two almond-shaped eyes that glowed brightly red; not a reflected red either. It seems that I recall it smelt awful -- but I didn't include that detail in these videos.
There is zero doubt in my mind that what I experienced was real - none. These things exist but so does the Lord God and His mighty angels and I've seen them as well and posted a video here on YouTube relating that experience as well.
At that time I was an E6 Army Training Sergeant and a very devout Christian living alone and physically, spiritually, and morally as clean as possible. At that time I was undergoing a spiritual awakening of sorts -- baptized in the Holy Spirit and communing with and seeking God as earnestly as possible. I add these details because I don't know but maybe that attracted some "attention" from the "enemy" as well which might of led to this rare and frightening experience. Then again, lately I thought maybe it confronted me directly as it did so I would get the word out that it was not some sort of "ape-like" creature (ie; bigfoot) that local press was making it! I don't know -- but I assure you, whatever it is, it is not of flesh and blood and most likely never was.
There was an element that is vile that took place in this story that I omitted because it's too personal for me to comfortably post publically. I will say that it was part of the brief possession I experienced that night and it is rather perverse -- though beyond my control. I do include this part in my book recounting of the story but you don't need to read the book to get the gist of things that this encounter was decidedly negative and over-powering.
I want to add that I question as to why this entity tossed my furniture around as it moved through my place. I speculate that if it was a demonic entity that it was too proud to be inconvenienced to walk around my table and chairs. But it did toss my furniture aside as it made its way up to where I was at.
I have had a lifetime of spiritual encounters and lately I decided to write a book relating these stories as well as what the Christian bible says on such things and other spiritual matters. I do have a book out with this story in it along with 26 other encounter stories. That book is available on Amazon.com (kindle ebook) under the title "Ghosts, Demonic Intrusion, and the Bible".
Feel free to comment. I know this story is pretty wild in some regards -- so I am expecting some wild comments -- I don't care.
