Hey there!
I'm a college student studying biology. I am also a musician, but I'm not particularly good at self promotion so all I have is these vids, a lackluster myspace page with one song on it, and a guild acoustic guitar. (ok I also have an electric i don't use as much, but putting things in threes is more poetic.)

I first learned guitar when I was about 11(?) years old.I think. Well my uncle recruited me to play with him. After school I would go to his house and jam. We played bluegrass; my uncle played guitar of course, but when we jammed, he could play mandolin, and banjo. We even played with another uncle, who picked up the bass. (a big huge bass)

In high school was when I really started writing my own music. The first song I ever wrote (must have been before entering high school) is commonly referred to as "The Chocolate Song". It something that at all times I try to avoid playing, but for some reason people who know me (especially kids) love that song and used to request it all the time.
Eventually I started writing songs that had a little more to do with emotions other than "making me feel warm inside" as chocolate did. I wrote about fighting with my brother, how my English teacher didn't understand me, and all matters of teenage angst. I played in the hallway near the lockers and art room, and I got a pretty good reception. I loved to do improv and still do. Later, I was in a short-lived band in which the only gig we played was the senior talent show; but it was a good experience.

Now in college, I think I have written my best work. Only one song up here was from right before getting into college, senior year, and that's "Seperate Ways"

Anyway,I have a ton of work to do but I wrote this bio instead.
