About Me:
Isabella is a precious little schnauzer girl, who also happens to be a retired conformation show champion. Hiking is her favorite thing to do. She loves getting out on the trails, and especially loves watching creeks flow by. She's so intelligent, and responds to over 30 voice and hand requests when hiking. I never taught her anything; she just picks everything up the first time I say it, and does it.
I adopted Isabella when she was 5 1/2 years old from a schnauzer rescue group, and I urge anyone who wants an animal to adopt an older animal from a rescue group or humane society. There are so many wonderful dogs and cats in need of forever homes. Older animals seem to bond even more solidly with their adoptive pet parents, and continually seem so appreciative for having been given a home.
Travis is an adorible little mama's boy. Travis was adopted when he was 1 year old. This was after this channel was opened, which is why his name isn't included in our youtube name of lisaandisabella. Travis is an absolute delight, and not a day goes by that he doesn't have me laughing at his antics, or have me amazed by the depths of his intelligence. Like Isabella, I never have to teach him anything; he just does what I ask.
Travis came from the same breeder who bred and showed Isabella. Travis is show quality in conformation, and was due to go on the show circuit to get his championship. Isabella and I fell in love with him instantly when I brought him home overnight to socialize him. I asked his breeder if we could have him when he was done showing. Bless her heart, rather than show him, she gave him to us just before Christmas that year. She put his happiness first, and for that we'll always be grateful to her.
I would like to thank Linda and Angela, for bringing my two furbabies into the world, and for giving us Travis. I would also like to thank Kelly, Isabella's foster mom, for knowing Isabella and I were meant to be together, and making it happen.
