VERSIONS is more than a band; it's become a family. After recording a demo in early 2009 and playing a few shows, it didn't take us long to be noticed by Daniele Nelli ( Tasters - Nuclear Blast Records). Because he liked our sound and our dedication, he was willing to produce our EP The Lights Are Fading. With the release of this 5-track CD, we spent a year playing almost every week, in as many cities as we could, with both local bands and bigger acts from abroad, playing for free and experiencing what it means to be on the road. Seeing our growing fan base, we knew it was time to hit the studio again to record an album.
"Foundations" is the first single off this album. The concept of the CD is about taking chances toward achieving your goals.
We wanted a polished and professional music video, and knew that working with Salvatore Perrone was going to be the best thing to do.
The story in this video is that of a girl thats finds herself on a road she doesn't remember, but taking this road seems to bring her back to the beginning of it. When she realizes she has been here before, she carries on instead of stopping again. The story is based around the lyrics from the song, "All the paths ahead to choose from, they all bring us back to where we belong. We were built up to carry on."
