I'm also a lion fur and am looking forward to meeting new people involved in the anthropomorphic "furry" fandom. I love everything about lions and feel a deep spiritual connection to them. To me, being "furry" is all about having fun in your animal fursona and brightening the lives of those around you, whether children, adults, or others in the community. I also love public fursuiting, there's nothing better than going out and putting a smile on people's faces and brightening their day as a cartoon animal come to life. I collect memorabilia from Disney's 'The Lion King' and 'The Lion King on Broadway' stage musical and unofficially have the largest collection in the United States, currently at 900+ items. It was featured at the 2006 Western Washington (Puyallup) Fair in the Collections exhibit and won a People's Choice Award. I also love to play poker and watch game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune and Press Your Luck (No Whammies!) I'm also a 218 average bowler and won one singles title bowling collegiately for the University of Washington.Right now I am playing a lot of Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds on the PS3 and have been doing well competing on the the international server.
Movies:
The Lion King, otherwise inspirational sports movies or comedies like Eurotrip that get me ROTFLMAO.At home you'll find me watching ESPN, Game Show Network, Comedy Central and Animal Planet, especially documentaries featuring African animals. It is my dream to one day visit Africa and go on a safari to see the wildlife up close and personal.
Music:
Nickelback is probably my favorite band, though I listen to Alternative, R/B, some Pop, and Dance music from DDR and In the Groove. I like a lot of different stuff. For instance right now on my playlist I have Evanescence, 3 Doors Down, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Edguy, Train, E-Type, Lifehouse, Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Michelle Branch, The Killers, Jojo, Elliot Yamin, Akon, All-American Rejects, Hilary Duff and Weird Al Yankovic. Foreign language versions of The Lion King on Broadway soundtrack are also fun. Variety IS the spice of life.
Books:
Zamba by Ralph Helfer - a must read for any animal lover. An unbelievably poignant tale of a affection-based relationship between man and lion. Also Kevin Richardson's "Part of the Pride"
