People misunderstand his pro-life stance most of the time. He believes that it should be a state issue and left to the states or to individual communities. So it's not like other republicans where they want abortion outlawed nationally.
I do disagree with him on that but it is actually a superior position to other republicans and most of the democrats too. I think that abortion protection should be added to the constitution, but presidents don't have anything to do with adding amendments, so really he wouldn't be able to effect that anyway. |
