Hi everyone,

My name is Linda B... Your new favorite set of disembodied hands. I've been teaching music (including guitar, bass, drums and various other things) for over 20 years.

I've created this Channel to present some basic music lessons in a simple, easy to understand way. You are welcome to comment, but remember, these lessons are designed assuming that the viewer is looking for information on how to play from the ground up. I'll try to create videos that will give you a chance to play along and learn some stuff that's hard to pick up from just watching people play. This is NOT the place for you advanced schredders to expect to learn much... at least for awhile. But if you are really wanting to learn my hope is that the lessons here will help. I'll try to add more in time. Feel free to suggest topics you would like to see, or suggestions to make future videos more helpful. You can find me on facebook at : http://www.facebook.com/?re...
And you can write me at LindaBMusic@cox.net I'd love to hear from you!

Hi Gang... sorry I haven't done any videos recently... I'm currently battling cancer. I'll keep you posted.

Hello Linda,
I used the information you provided several times. Maybe it got lost in the internet never-never land.
I hope all is well with you.

Hello Linda,
Any chance you'll still be able to find time to work on some TAB?

ejotha for the videos I'm going through a series of pedals direct into a mixing board just to keep the sound clean for recording. When I play out I have a great old vintage tube amp I've had since about 1973 and also a vox amp. In my teaching studio I also go through pedals and into the mixing board. I use a vintage tube screamer for overdrive, a Tech 21 sans amp for a lot of overdrive and distorion effects and a variety of delay pedals. I also like a pedal that Boss puts out that emulates a Fender deluxe amp too to warm up the sound a little.

Hi Linda,
I really love your style of teaching. You have a way of bringing about a very refreshing style of teaching which I find very relaxing and informative and instructional. Keep up the great work, you go girl! What type of amp are you using?

Thanks pcmacfree... I'm in the process of shooting and editing more rhythm videos too that you might find helpful.
