I have the original version of Hex Hex, and yes, it is a hot potato variant, but it's actually a lot of fun is what I've found. Yes, it's very luck based, but the fun comes from trash talking and the attempts to screw your neighbor. It's not near as fiddly as Ryan would make it out to be.
