About this user

I am a full time touring instructor and performer. I grew up on classic rock, blues and folk music. My grandparents instilled in me love for old Yiddish Folk Music, so you could say i just adore roots music. That is why i have dedicated so much time to studying the old time harmonica styles as well as the roots tunes for ukulele. I also focus on early flatpick guitar styles with a strong emphasis on the Carter Family and early swing and jazz arranging. I describe my music as Woody Guthrie Meets Ukulele Ike, Meets Theodore Bikel. I have often been called: The Jewish Pete Seeger! Most of my heroes are working folksingers, out there working in the community everyday.
