I'm a singer songwriter and Music was always part of me. My 1st guitar was given to me when I was 14 years old. It was a classic guitar that I tought myself how to play, but it wasn't classical music that would come out of it :D
A lot has happened since then, and I mean loads. They were years filled with events that included bringin up my two children. And it wasn't until 7 years ago that I felt this overwhelming hurge to hold a guitar in my arms and sing my favourite songs again. It all started one day on my way home from work. Oh boy I had the blues, that night! I needed to sing and I needed to play a guitar, any guitar, so I ventured down to the nearest Acoustic Room in Bristol to check it out. I didn't do a good job that first night, but I couldn't care.

Then things changed....but the challenges compelled me to do what I love most: playing my Music. And I just 'kept going', my motto ;)
Seven years down the line, and I've been playing at various Open Mics and gigs in and around Longon, Brighton and Hove. I've written my own songs and recorded what I call my organic CD, Carvings I -- the second Cd is well overdue!!!
My songs are often about stories I encounter, often with me inside them too as part of my journey through life, hence Carvings I. They're real!!! Gosh! I've even included my teenage son & daughter in a song. It just happened :D
....oh, and I'm a *busker* too when the weather's right ;)

Interests: living the Middle Way, Buddhism, Disability issues, Music, Crossstitching and Astronomy. Getting on a bus, coach or train are my latest ambitions, whilst Quantum Physics and Parallel Universes are my latest discoveries, real amazing stuff!
