LC grew up as a girl named Michelle in a small town in the piedmont region of North Carolina. She's been singing since she was old enough to talk.
She began writing and singing her own music at the age of 10. By age 12 she was performing in local talent shows.
At age 13 she formed a music group called Fantasy with two of her close friends. This soon came to an end but LC continued on in a solo artist effort.
Her teenage years were filled with little recognition by her internet fans but she still enjoyed making music. "I only do it because it makes me happy. I don't plan on getting famous," she says with a smile.
Now at the age of 22 years old she has grown on and has a more mature sound to her voice but still brings that same childish innocence with every song. LC is a diva in her own little way.
