This is not Rainbow its the crappy tribute band Over The Rainbow with a host of past Rainbow members and Ritchies son Jurgen on guitar who is bloody rubbish compared to his dad!!!!

Have to say that kind of guitar wankery does nothing for me whatsoever.EVH belongs to the same list as Satch,Vai and Widdly Widdly Malmsteen ie the guitar racers !! You could basically put the lot of them up on astage with speedometers and let them race to see who hist the most notes per second!!...

both are great talents my preference is Blackmore by a mile !!! i think he plays with more emotion and versatility and was by far the better live player, Jimmy was superb in the studio but often too wasted to play live.All Jimmys work was over a 10 year period Blackers is still producing it today...

Led Zep were a great band and Jimmy Page was a great guitarist (mainly in the studio live he was always a bit sloppy and got worse when the substance abuse took hold)but this does not show them or him at thier best its pretty awful really.As for the all time great guitarists then there was no one...
