About this user

I am a Mom - who is determined to raise my kids a certian way: open minded, educated and completely loved. Lead by example.

I am a Friend - and the friends I have, I consider my family. We are always there for each other in any circumstance.

And I own a small industrial medical company. I treat my employees like I wish I was treated when I worked for other people.

Lastly, I am a human that lives life with morals and values. I learn from my own mistakes... as well as from others. I am constantly making myself more of who I am... and hope that I make a positive impact on this planet (even if it's so small - that some would say it doesn't matter).

I take a big interest in getting educated and removing stigma of mental health across this planet. My family has a history of mental illness on both sides, which would make sense as to why there is constant conflict within the families. Unfortunately, most of them are stigmatize-ers... always trying to hide conditions thinking that they will magically go away, labeling others to keep a comfort zone, shaming, etc. Bipolar (for one) has been evident generations before, but never diagnosed. My sister was diagnosed March of 2005. Because of my family's non-acceptance - she has been handed the short end of the stick. I am passionate about this because my sister is an amazing, fun-loving person who is extremely creative and intelligent. She is my best-friend who is locked in a box and I am unable to help her get out because others feel that its more comfortable (even though at times its pure hell) to keep her in the box then putting in an effort to get her out. Or like now, be forced to TRY to help her because it's been court ordered. It would have NEVER gotten to this point if my sister had the love and understanding she deserved. I hope that she can breath long enough until the older members pass on... I know this sounds so morbid. With the hell my kids and I have been put through, like having lies made up and gossiped about, being excluded from family functions - HEY... being STIGMATIZED! I do forgive them, they are only acting the same as how they have been taught... and for the fact that I have broke free... that's all that matters. My kids will not endure the same.
