He is certainly correct about one thing. Socialism/communism is EVIL. You can't have socialism without the force of government (voluntary sharing, voluntary charity is NOT socialism. "Hippie communes" are examples of an extended family...not "socialism").

Matt Damon is an actor. He likes to hear himself talk. Like most actors, his ego is inflated. I don't take the political views of actors seriously unless they have distinguished themselves by some sort of serious study (something they almost never do).
