This video has always been hilarious to our family. This was filmed on July 26, 1984: the day my parents bought my sister and me Michael Jackson's Thriller record. She was 6 and I'm 2.5.

When the news broke about Michael Jackson's untimely death on June 25, 2009 my mom, sister and I all remembered this video and decided we needed to post it online. I'm willing to bet there are a lot of adults with videos of themselves as children rockin' out to Michael on the record player. He was the soundtrack of our childhood, the way Elvis and John Lennon were for the generations before us. He was our hero and the world won't be the same without him!
