Leo Cunningham is a new talent in the film community. His love for the arts began as a painter while growing up in the inner city of Philadelphia. After high school, Leo joined the United States Marine Corps into an infantry unit. After two meritorious promotions, Leo joined the elite fighting force as a Amphibious Reconnaissance Marine. Leo honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 2003, obtaining the rank of Sergeant and served his country for two tours overseas. After his discharge, Leo settled down in California with his wife and son and began to pursue an acting career. While attending a local college in San Diego, Leo directed his first play and began to fall in love with the art of directing. He was accepted into the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California where he is currently persuing a degree in Film and Television Production. His first film, shot on 16mm, has recently been accepted into festivals as he continues his education at USC. Leo Cunningham's talent, education, hard work and discipline will continue to separate him from his peers as he pursues to become the next talented American filmmaker .
