I've been playing bass since I was 17, however I have never taken lessons. I have always played at band practice and sort of figured it out then. About a year and a half ago I started to learn scales and basic theory. With emphasis on the word "basic":) I noticed a large improvement in my playing since I have a bass that suits my hand more and more recently a brand of strings I am actually satisfied with. I had trouble with the nerves in my fretting hand/arm about a year ago and with careful attention to not strain my hand and arm it has gotten better. Eventually I will upload some better videos when I find the time. I hope that someone can enjoy them or at least enjoy how much they disliked them^^
