A prolific composer and producer, Levi Chen has released seven albums since 1993. Progressively evolving from the spare but elegant solo guitar work of Tao to the abundant washes of guitar, poetic recitation and gu zheng layers on Haiku Moon, Levi devoted an entire CD to the interplay of ambient guitar and Chinese harp on Meditation of My Soul.

Levi performs on one of the newest and one of the oldest stringed instruments known to man: A Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, and the gu zheng (Chinese Harp or Zither), an ancient instrument played in China for 3,000 years.
