I bought this unit but just upgraded to the BackTrack Point-5. I highly recommend it because its easier to use than other, more complicated GPS units. The new Point-5 offers more features like temp., altitude and a cool digital compass which also includes Lat/Lon. But the key is its simplicity!

I bought one a year ago and am now giving it as gifts this year. Its great, dirt simple and reliable. For myself, I am looking at the new BackTrack Point 5.

This product rocks... that said, you have to understand its limitations. First, its for small rooms unless you stand right in front of it. Second, there are many that you have to drain the water, but I never did although I used it sparingly given the power drain. I had bad luck with one I got ...

One thing I have found is that other simple GPS products aren't very simple. BackTrack is pretty simple although the Onix isn't... don't confuse the two though because Bushnell has discontinued the Onix for probably good reason. You do need to keep the backtrack level but so does any other digi...
