Our storytelling character called The Library Fairy® is a magical mascot of stories and books. She has joyfully performed on television, in libraries, schools, theaters and book festivals-- introducing tens of thousands of young lives to the art of folklore storytelling.Touted as 'today's storyteller for today's children', she captivates with a completely novel style by performing stories in the lively oral tradition, enchanting her audience with narration, interactive games, music and theatrical improvisation using an array of props, humor and song. Meeting the needs of a diverse population, she also uses American Sign Language (ASL) and Spanish at times to tell her many delightful tales.
For bookings visit her home site at: www.thelibraryfairy.com.
The Library Fairy® is bringing the distinctive art of storytelling to life on a national level for a whole new generation of story listeners. This includes bringing TLF to the small screen, providing children an unprecedented access to multicultural folklore while enhancing this art to directly promote their literacy, diversity and self-esteem. She has already completed a pilot presentation intended for development with a broadcast, cable or public television outlet, attracting the partnership of a prominent production company who has produced for PBS, General Mills, NBC, ABC, and Kids' WB! Currently inviting development or sponsors with our PBS KIDS proposal, our full pilot presentation, series bible and professional staff (including children's education and literacy experts) are available to view.
Take a sneak peek at our little pilot promo and BE THE HERO OF YOUR OWN STORY!
