Firstly, thanks for watching!

My acoustic album titled "Sunrise" is now available on ITunes at Amazon MP3 and Napster.

- and why not say hello at www.myspace.com/lescheetham

I started off playing classical guitar - I have the dubious honor of being the only pupil ever to be promoted from the beginners to the imtermediate class....and then promptly demoted again two weeks later. That was over twenty five years ago. I feel that I'm starting to come to terms with it.
I've spent the vast majority of my time playing electric guitar, but have become a recent convert to steel string acoustic - mainly thanks to being inspired by some of the stunning players on this site!

The guitar that I'm using is a McIlroy A25. This is a fantastic instrument. Their website address is;

Hi again Les. I just wanted to suggest another astoning talent on here. check out Cesar Huesca's version of little wing. Mindblowing. On a par with your superb example. Cheers Les, take it easy mate.

Hi Les. Just wanted to say thanks. Your quite magnificent talent has inspired me to take up the guitar again, after many years. Im from just up the road in Newcastle also, so great to see local talent too. I was so impressed i went straight onto i-tunes last week and bought your album. All the best Les, and i hope i can be even a fraction as good a musician as you one day. Iain

Hey, I'm just wondering if you knew where i could get the guitar tabs/music notes of "the irish girl" from, i really cant seem to find it, thanks.
lesjcheetham (2 years ago)
Cheers for that. The Irish Girl and Tracy's Big Moment by the superb Adrian Legg are two of my favorite acoustic pieces. For anyone in the NE of England, Adrian Legg is playing at the Buddle Arts Center in Wallsend on February the 14th. Venue tel. 0191 2007026.

Hi Les,

My husband is blown away by your version of 'Flowers of Ayaco'. I've been trawling the net in order to get the tabs for him but haven't had any success. I would be most grateful if you could let me know where these may be available.

Keep up the beautiful playing.

thanks,

Kelly
