how strange to listen to a record sung by a supporting act at an allniter in 1967/8 several years later and be told its a classic when it was sold to me for two bob -sorry 10 pence cos nobody wanted it

apart from being dragged on stage by tina tuner in1966 at the mojo in sheffield at 3 am -me 15 years old and the other discs were also recent recordindings played at all niters before being called northern soul i have loved these discs for aal these years

as soon as the lights came on all the blockers big eyes and all pissed off the dance floor like wood lice hiding until the lights went off again sad but its so many years ago
