this method has an EXTREMELY small margin of error, your hitbox has to be precisely in the safespot, but it probably is a much more effective way to capture the spell card.

we did this same piece for marching band last year (we were the ones in all white and painted faces). it's pretty cool seeing another band march a different drill with the same music.
