It's surprising to see that she's playing an open G# flute here, but uses the more common closed G# in the Chopin and Schubert pieces. I wonder which she normally uses.

I've figured it out! He was trying to sing "What I Am" the late 80s song by Edie Brickell & The New Bohemians. It goes: What I am is what I am, are you what you are or what? He can carry the pins better than he can carry a tune!

Why no close up of the flute? Is it silver throughout, and are there any special markings - like a valentine engraved somewhere? What's the serial number? Is it for sale?......etc.

Remember the huge boulder in the basement from an earlier episode? It's just out of camera range to the right. The writers must've decided not to have Rob or Blackie mention it.
It's also kind of an awkward contrivance how Buddy comes over not knowing Blackie's there.

Nice to hear these Kincaid and Sokoloff performances from the 1951 recording (which I listened to in the 1960s). The Hindemith Sonata is the only piece on that recording not uploaded yet, so I hope bartje11 will get around to it.

There's a "How It's Made" video about 3D metal printing. Couldn't this be used to make just the tube (silver, gold, etc.) with the tone holes and collars already formed? That way there'd be no need for drawn or soldered tone holes!

The part starting at 2:00 makes no sense. If the holes in the flask are taped over and plaster is poured over the wax tree, how can the wax melt out of the holes later when the plaster has hardened? It must melt out of the bottom, so why not use a solid flask? This part needs to be re-worded.
