About Me:
I was introduced to the piano when I was eleven years of age. My Nan 'Barbara Benham', gave me an electric piano when I was eleven years old, and I taught myself how to play piano from books and mainly by ear. I learnt how to play most of my pieces of music by ear, and learnt very difficult pieces this way, as I had no knowlage of how to read music properly at that time.
When I was twelve I started receiving piano lessons at school and my skills developed quickly from there.
The piece that helped me settle into the piano and build myself as a pianist was 'Clair de Lune' by Claude Debussy.
I learnt many, difficult piano pieces and by the age of 14 I had performed at school concerts, piano competitions and other concerts too, (nothing too big). In my life I have come second the 2010 chelmsford piano competiton, Come first in the 2011 Chelmsford Piano Competition, performed infront of all of the essex air cadets, played infront of the chelmsford Mayor, played infront of Great Baddow, won my school talent show, and i'm only 16. I have also had three recitals at Lime Court in Hockley and performed in over 30 different shows and concerts.
I hope to go a lot furthur with my piano in the future, and learn increasingly difficult pieces, and acheive higher in my piano. Please enjoy my videos! I will update you on how I am doing constantly. Thank you!
On another note please let me know if you have any pieces you want me to learn, Classical, modern or jazz. Also check my channel description above, where it explains about booking me for show's and concert's and about my repertoire! Thanks.
