Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my channel.

As you can see, I have an interest in Animation, especially with lego. I have a lot of it at home which I collected when I was younger, so I make films with it in my free time. I also intend to use more complex methods of stop motion, like drawing and plasticene, but being quite busy with homework I don't always get the time. Lego is easiest and quickest for me to use, and for anyone who wants to start up animation I would recommend it. I want to be an animator one day so lego's been a great way to practise without expensive equipment.

Animation's pretty easy to do. You need a some basic equipment, like a webcam, computer and something to animate. Then get a free program like SMA (stop motion animator), plug in your camera and get animating!

FILMS IN THE MAKING

Currently, due to school I have to admit that there won't be as many little animations. But I'm doing animation at school, so instead of lots of short videos I'll get making one big one!

Q&A:

What camera do you use?
From the first film I put on here until 'Lego 24 FPS test 2' I used an old advent webcam which I got down PCworld for about £8. I then got the Logitech Quickcam pro 9000, a decent camera. But being as I've recently switched to a Mac computer, I won't be using the LQP9000 anymore because its not mac compatible.
But I recently got a Canon MD205 camcorder, which is mac compatible. It cost me about £50, and it's a lot better than the logitech. I've used it since 'Test Montage 2'.

What editing program do you use?
For all my films I had to use Windows movie maker (unfortunately). All except, for 'The Magicians Hat' which I managed to use Sony Vegas for. Oh and I used SMA (stop motion animator) for the animation, a great, free program.
Since 'The Magician's Hat' I switched to a mac, and I now use Final Cut Express 3.5 for editing, and istopmotion to animate.
