Demonstrable, repeatable evidence. It's not like people haven't tried. There have been thousands of studies into the supposed paranormal, and never any evidence that any of it is anything other than mythology. Until that changes, I cannot believe it to be true, or even likely.

The number of people who believe something has no bearing on whether or not it is true.

You cannot say X number of people believe Y, therefore Y is true.

If there is no basis for that Islamic "Theory", besides religious dogma and scripture, then there is no evidence that it is true.
