If you graduated from an all (or mostly) Black school in the 70's, you probably heard this song at some point. In my hometwon, a high school class named themselves "Young, Gifted & Black." I do wonder how their Asian & Latino classmates felt about that!
I digress. Aretha doesn't "cover" the songs...
