Leah Eneas is a twenty-eight year old entertainer from Mt. Pleasant Village on the Island of New Providence, Bahamas. She made her theatrical and dancing debut at the Dundas Centre in Nassau, Bahamas at the tender age of ten in the musical, All My Chirren, a Bahamian parody. Since then, she's attended the prominent HBCU, Fisk University where she majored in Dramatics and Speech/Dance. Leah has performed in a number of plays including, Once on this Island, The Colored Museum, Gospel at Colonus, Ain't Misbehavin', Women Talk, Winston Saunders', "You Can Lead a Horse to Water", and Nicolette Bethel's, "The Children's Teeth". She is currently a host, television personality, and Crochet Artist. Her debut American feature film was directed by Michael Sellers and is named, "Beneath the Blue". She played the character, Elizabeth Duvey and was the only Bahamian cast with a major speaking role . If that's not enough, This exciting spirit has dabbled in the radio world as well. She had the 'Midday Cruising show at Love 97FM, was a co-host of an all female talk show, "Brunch with the Bunch" on Island 102.9FM, and co-hosed the show, "Plugged In" on Island FM.
Leah isn't only an actress and radio personality, she's a singer, too! Eneas started singing publicly in Nashville, Tennessee at Kijiji's Cafe in October of 2000 and has been featured on albums like David Olney's The Wheel, a country music album and DJ Elevation's "Reconstruction". Throughout college, she's been a lead vocalist in three different bands; Black Cotton, Spok'N Tonz, and Cobalt Blu. As a dancer, the young Bahamian started at age nine and continued dancing until she graduated from College in 2005. She's performed in The Bahamas, The United States, Jamaica, Trinidad and Guyana. In addition to her performing talents, Leah is a visual artist and is an experienced crochet artist. She was also once signed as the local phone company, BTC's, spokesperson for the 'Vibe' connect campaign and is featured on the cover of Nu Woman's 2009 winter issue. Keep an eye on Leah, her star is rising and you never know what she's going to do next!!
