Ms Ledisi you are a PowerHouse of Vocal ability, and that is not the kind of thing you just pick up somewhere. It is the gift that was born inside of you and has not let you go or give up. It is what God has developed in you to reach out to his people. When I listen to your music I can feel everythinnggg, from ice cream in the park with the kids, to heartache of loss, a commitment of love, a sunday morning getting happy and doing a little dance, insecurity about life and the right to say, " It's Alright. I'm still gone do my thang". Your music makes it feel alright to be human. I even used Lost and Found as a Lullaby album, and it worked like a charm. Keeping it real, I understand, heartfelt emotions come from experience, and when you reach stardom, people can forget that you are still human too, so may you continue to be Blessed on your journey.
