About this user
Leaving Cash formed in early May of 2005. Based out of Coatesville, PA, the name is a direct reference to the high school's acronym: "CASH," or Coatesville Area Senior High. Made up of Brenna Fitzgerald, Brian Fitzgerald, Matt Lobach, and Andrew McLean, they are not your typical four-piece. With all members coming from different musical backgrounds with different influences, the resulting sound is diverse, to say the least. The musicians in Leaving Cash are not only versatile, but proficient, and we take advantage of this, switching instruments from time to time in addition to often featuring 4-part harmony and rotating lead vocals, depending on the material. With a sound ranging from alternative hard rock to hip hop and a line-up that continually changes, every show is different. We are currently active in State College, the West Chester area, and Philadelphia. Our recent media coverage has been on NBC, performing on the 10! Show, on WMMR, performing live on the Preston & Steve show from Finnigan's Wake for St. Patty's Day, and Brian Fitzgerald performed in February with the Foo Fighters on national television at the 50th Grammy Awards. Brenna has performed with John Wetton (King Crimson, Asia) and Skunk Baxter (Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers).
