The Devil's Playground, Animal Kingdom, The King's Speech, Kiss or Kill, Witness, The Castle, The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith, The Conversation, The Godfather, The Lady Eve, Precious: Based on the novel "Push" by Saphire, The Maltese Falcon TV: 30 Rock (the best comedy show on television, esp. Season 1, 2), Mad Men (has there ever been a show as great as this creation of Matt Weiner & co.), Arrested Development,True Blood (esp S1, it's gone off the rails recently, i.e S3), The Sopranos (mainly for Carmela & other female characters;the male characters were repulsive, Dexter (Season 1 & 2 only) Weeds (again only Seasons 1 & 2), North and South (English and American versions), I have just discovered the brilliance of another AMC production, Breaking Bad, with Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul (Vince Gilligan is the show creator/runner, but it is a collaboration of the entire cast & crew that is responsible for this near masterpiece tv show.)
