About LEAPNOW:Transforming Education
A leader in alternative education since 1993, LEAPNOW specializes in transformative educational programs in the U.S. and abroad. We believe that no one is well served by sitting in a classroom for 16 years in a row -- and that everyone can benefit from learning by doing real work in the real world. It is critically important between the ages of 17 and 25 to get away from schools, family and contrived learning situations in order to experience life in a real way. This helps us to grow up, explore potential careers, learn about other cultures, and go "out on a limb." Our "well" can fill back up, we can feel the wind in our hair, our perspective can broaden, and we can re-discover our organic desire to learn. Perhaps most importantly, we can take control of our own learning -- vital to success in college and beyond.
