I just watched 'validation'
I'm smiling a big genuine smile right now... So far through the vid. I had the most amazing de-ja-vue when he photographs the couple - wearing white shirts & waistcoats - on the bus.

yes, you have got it right in one. Left hand = volume, and right hand = pitch etc.
although I think I must have had the camera on mirror view, as it looks the other way round on the video.
I think you would like one that I have added to my favourites... called Validation.
