We went to John's for pizza the night after we went to Lombardi's to compare. John's pie was just as meager as Lombardi's, but the crust was flavorless. Terrible, any other pie would be better. I will never go back to either restaurant. Is this NYC's idea of what's best? Come on!
We went to Lomardi's, Oct 3, 2011, for pizza and it was terrible. The crust was flat like a saltine cracker and tastes similar. It had minimal sauce, basil and toppings. Dominos is better.
That's not what our pizza looked like, the crust looked like a slightly curly saltine and tasted about the same.
