First started out as a random thing when Glen, Aloysius, Joel and Laurent were going home from school and Aloysius wanted to to have a fun jam at a nearby small studio. Glen and Aloysius had already some form of guitar knowledge. But the rest had hardly any musical background. After an hour of crazy shit jamming of nothing, Aloysius made a rash choice to start a band, with Glen as the lead guitarist, Aloysius as the vocals and rhythm guitar, Joel as the bassist and Laurent as the drummer.

Our abilities soared beyond the recognition that it previously had at first. Driven by pure passion, our roles and abilities and broadened, now a possibility of inc operating electronic backing synths, wide range of effects and exotic percussion, Avis has grown to be the powerhouse it is today as compared to what it was when it was called "still pending". We feel ready to have our own range of music, slowly pulling away from covers.
