The children were copying, even if it meant they were doing something rather silly. Sounds like the cause of religion. Children get brainwashed by their parents, and they will later on in their life see that 'silly thing' called religion as a truth.

@charlesvan13 Chimps do have morality. The thing is, they have their bad sides and their good sides, just like humans. Humans give to charities, but they kill others too, make war etc.

@DOTCurrency It is important that western demand changes. I do not use tropical hardwoods, eat less meat, and eat brazil nuts every day. If every one in the western world would change their habits, deforestation probably will slow down a lot.
