I agree that you may have been born gay. However this does not mean that homosexuality is not a sin. The bible says that we are "born in sin and shapened in iniquity". This does not mean that babies are born sinners but that all are born with a propensity to sin. Some are born with birth defects...

It doesn't mean that we should not be willing to dialogue with others and work together. I'm sure that all faiths do have some redeeming qualitites in them. There is some material with which we can build a bridge and a working relationship.
