My name is Lars Bo Kujahn.
I work with music from Turkey, arabian countries as well as Balkan and worldfusion in general. My main instrument is the arabian "Qanoon" (arabian piano) - and beside I play "Oriental Percussion" ; tabla/darbuka(arabian turkish drum) and all kinds of frame drums from Middle East/Asia. Finally I play drums and guitar as well..

About Me:
A spiritually inspiration with the purpose of creating a bridge between the western and eastern cultures - to be able to present the best from the Arabian maqam and the most funky western beat - incl. some African spices.
Since the last project "Oriental Cut", Oriental Mood now will enter their new CD project (supported by KODA in DK) -called "Muktalef" (different).
The new CD is released in dec 2007.

Lars Bo Kujahn started as a Jazz Fusion drummer, but soon took interest in Balkan and Middle Eastern music. He lived for many years with one leg in Copenhagen, the other in Cairo, where he learned Arabian drumming and how to play the Arabian harp, the Qanoon.
