Daniel O'Donnell has recorded his own version of this song. I love the song and recommend one hear the version by Daniel. I like both, but am crazy about Daniel's version. It's on his latest CD called "Moon Over Ireland"; he calls it Sonny.

It doesn't matter to me who wrote it, I love the song. I love Daniel's rendition very much. I play it over and over. Good man, Good song. What else do we need. Truly a fan!

I agree, I just recently discovered Daniel's music on YouTube. Every song he sings becomes his because he is so great. I don't care who sang it first, or how long ago, it just sounds new and great when Daniel sings it. God Bless Daniel and Majella, Margo too, and their families.

I'm sorry I forgot to mention Majella---I've heard her sing and seen her interview; she is also a talented singer and comes across to me as down to earth and good. I'm proud to be of Irish blood when I see these folks.
