NFL Films in this era was king. On into the 70's, Steve Sabol got control of things and their stuff became all about storytelling and music, instead of just covering the games and reporting what happened like we see here.

Well, the 71 Bills scored the fewest points in the league and gave up the most. That's hard to pull off.
But on the other hand, in 68 they were only two years removed from playing for the AFL championship. So it was amazing that they were so breathtakingly bad in 68.

I doubt Buffalo was ever considered for a home MNF game before Rich Stadium opened in 1973. The team was awful, and Simpson had not yet developed into anything worth putting on Monday night.
