I started playing piano when I was four or five years old. My mother taught me to begin with. When I was about 12, I had my first piano teacher from outside my family. I've had lessons off and on. But, above all, I credit God for His giving me any talent I have and giving the strength and ability to learn. All glory be to Him!
I was a homeschool student K-12, and I am thankful that God placed me in this family. I was born again fairly recently, I believe, and am grateful for the amazing (undeserved) grace of God.

If you'd like to know the way of salvation, here are a few Bible verses to get you started. I'd recommend listening to some good preachers like John Piper (www.desiringgod.org).

Romans 3:21-26:
'But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.'

John 6:37:
'All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.' [Jesus, the Son of God, said this.]

John 5:24:
'Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.' [Jesus, the Son of God, said this.]
