About Classical guitar

Classical guitar - dedicated to amateurs and professionels efforts with the instrument - including my own.
In addition to my own uploads I am beginning to organize some playlists each with a specific focus i.e. historical recordings, specific luthiers, new guitar repertoire.... It's a work in progress and it only represent my own interest in this vast field.

About this user

I love the classical guitar, the instrument, the music, the players and to play it. YouTube is a perfect place to share this interest and to inspire each other.
As a child I began to play guitar. Learning chords from age 9 to 12. With poor results though. In highschool I entered a couple of rock-bands. Eventually I took up classical guitar after I met a very talented guitar-player who wanted to enter the conservatory.
In the 1980's I had Finn Wandahl and Fritz Feichtinger as my teachers. But studies in Anthropology, and familylife, made me turn classical guitar playing into a private hobby.
A couple of years ago I found myself a teacher and realized that I once again had to pay a lot more attention to my technique. I had developed quite a lot of bad habits when playing.
Anyway I have a small collection of guitars that I love to play. I am hoping one day to build my own.
By recording and uploading on You Tube I intend to pay more attention to my performance than I have done previously.
