Agreed JJ is not the best of singers but Steve Fishman murders a classic.
I would have loved to hear Hugh do it as he has done great vocals on London Lady and Ugly on his last live album bringing a new dimension to the tracks but I suppose he has his hands full with the guitar work.

Great days.I can see the Stranglers with a brilliant new front man and also see Hugh ,(who is playing brilliantly) too.
There was a time when I blamed him for leaving because it meant the finish of the band I loved, but that has passed.
I was gutted when he went and the period with Paul Roberts...
