I agreed with most of what you said..I'm a huge deerhunter fan and just heard the album the other day. Immediately i thought 'refreshing'. The older stuff (probably besides microcastle and rainwater) is often jumbled (in a good way) and more soundscape-like, but this album is very light and airy....
