This nonprofit 501c3 Foundation is strengthening and lengthening the Human-Canine Bond. And, they are raising monies for cancer treatment for working dogs as well as research in comparative oncology, the study of cancers that occur similarly in humans and companion animals.

Professional publications include two monograph articles: Stress and Illness in the Family: A Linear versus Family Life Space Perspective; and, The Child with Cancer: A Life Space Study of Six Families. Her private practice and graduate teaching work, however, have been curtailed due to a disability and struggles with a mixed connective tissue disease.
