Fred Brillanti, owner and CEO of Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep, believes that success is more than a measure of wealth. It's a measure of how you've contributed to your community, your fellow co-workers and your family. This core value has been at the heart of Fred's business philosophy since he started in 1982.

Twenty-five years ago Fred got to buy out his boss. As General Manager of Sam Dell Dodge on Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro, Brillanti was given the opportunity to purchase the Dodge dealership he had helped build over the preceding years. Fred jumped at the chance...and according to him, has never looked back.

In May of 2001 Landmark moved from Tara Blvd. to 6823 Mt. Zion Blvd. in Morrow Georgia and then across the street to their current location at 6850 Mt. Zion Blvd when Fred was presented with the opportunity to build one of Daimler-Chrysler's "dealerships of the future." Daimler-Chrysler insiders call these dealerships "Alpha Stores", and for good reason. Landmark quickly grew to be the largest Dodge, Chrysler Jeep dealership in the state of Georgia and its 25-acre facility is one of the most impressive automobile dealerships on the planet.

From very early on, in an automotive career that was to become a lifelong passion, Fred Brillanti realized a few very important concepts: "The business is about two very basic and equal elements... cars and people. If you pay extremely close attention to both of them, add a full measure of hard work and employ the 'Golden Rule'... treat people the way you want to be treated... success will come to you." That philosophy has become a Landmark tradition. One that is currently being carried on by Fred's son, Mike Brillanti.

Mike serves as Landmark's General Manager and oversees the store's daily operations. His sales track record the past two years has consistently placed the store in the top 10 of over 3750 DaimlerChrysler dealerships nationally. "Our huge growth is the direct result of Fred's 'cars and people' approach to the business."

"We carry a huge inventory --well over a thousand vehicles. That way when a customer comes looking, we have 20 or 30 choices of each model instead of just a couple. And we treat everybody with respect... the way we'd like to be treated. It's been our process for 26 years. I think it's timeless."
